Frequently Asked Questions

Do FotoFacial™ treatments hurt?
No, FotoFacial™ treatments are not painful; they feel like a very small, warm pinch. Our Medical Esthetician can control any discomfort you may have.

Are there any long term side effects?
There are no long term side effects recorded with the FotoFacial™ RF. The only side effects shown are temporary darkening of the skin (which goes away within a few days) and temporary redness of the skin which goes away within an hour.

How many treatments will I need?
A series of six treatments is required for this procedure, however, stubborn vascular pigment and Rosacea may require more. This is something that the Wellness Consultant and Medical Esthetician will discuss with you.

What kind of results can be expected?
Results will vary with everyone, but gradual fading of pigmented lesions and vascular lesions will be noticed within the first 2-3 treatments.
